Information You Provide
Queries Sent to a Search Partner
When you enter a name or location in a site search tool, the query is forwarded to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Bee County Busted Mugshots does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s privacy terms govern its handling of the query after it receives it.
Messages You Send
If you email us or send a message through a contact method, we keep the information needed to reply and address the request. We do not share that message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Information Collected Automatically
As with most websites, hosting and analytics systems may receive routine technical information when a page loads. That information can include:
- Your IP address.
- Your browser type and version.
- Device category and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on them.
- The referring site, when one is provided.
- Visit dates and times.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools help us understand how visitors use the site and whether pages work properly. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, though some features may then behave differently.
How We Use Information
- To operate, secure, and improve the site’s speed and reliability.
- To route a search request to the applicable partner service.
- To understand which record-navigation pages visitors find useful.
- To diagnose errors, abuse, and technical problems.
- To support advertising that may be relevant to a visitor’s interests.
External Sites and Advertising
This guide links visitors to outside resources such as the Bee County Sheriff’s Office and Jail, IVSS Counties, the Beeville Police Records Office, court pages, and third-party search services. Once you follow an external link, that destination’s privacy policy, not this one, applies to your activity there.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to measure activity across websites or deliver interest-based ads. We do not control those systems or the information they collect.
Who May Receive Data
We do not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed only to the limited recipients needed for the site to function or when law requires it:
- Search partners that process submitted queries.
- Analytics providers that help us measure site performance.
- Advertising networks that serve or measure advertisements.
- Law-enforcement agencies or other government bodies responding to a valid legal order.
Security Measures
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information in our control. No internet-connected service can guarantee complete security, however, and we cannot promise that a transmission or stored item will never be accessed, altered, or lost.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe that a minor has sent us personal information, use Get in Touch so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Information Choices
You may use Get in Touch to request the following, subject to applicable law and our ability to verify the request:
- A copy of personal information we hold about you.
- Correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Deletion of personal information in our control.
- Opting out of certain processing where that option is available.
Changes to This Notice
We may revise this Privacy Notice as site practices or legal requirements change. Any revision will appear on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after posting means the updated notice applies.
